Ben won the respect CTCC in his first season at Brigg Road - brightening up the club with his vibrant persona. He was successful on the field, too, excelling with the Second Team gloves.

While his batting record may seem mediocre, Ben improved notably during his maiden senior campaign - finishing with several scores that better reflected his undoubted talent - including an aggressive 27 against Keelby 2nd XI.

2012 could be a crucial year for Ben - he will be looking to cement his place in the club's Second Team, while perhaps targetting the occasional outing for Liam Wood's Premier Division side.
