Punchy, tenacious and competitive - Dan performs with great enthuisiasm, and expects others to follow. Having captained the Second Team since 2009, Dan was forced to relinquish the role ahead of 2012, due to excessive work commitments.

Whether asked to perform a long, tireless spell with the ball, or to provide stability with the bat, Dan always conducts himself with desire. Having joined the club from local rivals South Kelsey in 2008, Dan reached a double landmark last season - passing 1000 runs and 100 wickets for the club.

While he has passed the chalice onto Kevin Parker, Dan's experience and ability will be crucial as the Second Team target promotion in 2012.
