Joe is CTCC's answer to Stuart Broad - both in looks and style. He is a bowling allrounder, who generally shapes the ball away from the right handed batsman - offering solid defence down the order, too.

After years of promise, Joe came of age in 2010 - taking 33 wickets at an average of 18.73, including a match-winning 4-26 in the final of the George Marshall Trophy against Alkborough 1st XI.

Despite his success, Joe has also encountered several injury problems - something he, and the club, will be hoping is a thing of the past. In the prospected absence of Lewis Jefferson, Joe could play an important role in 2012.
