Having progress through the CTCC youth system, Lewis looked to be on his way out of Brigg Road in the winter of 2010, only to make a dramatic u-turn. Despite agreeing a move to Nettleham 1st XI, Lewis eventually decided to stay with his first, and only, club.

Lewis is a well-built opening bowler who is capable of operating at a good pace, while simultaneously generating movement through the air. He is a fine lower order striker, too.

A Lincolnshire regular since his early years, Lewis has since given up hope of attracting a major county - instead opting to pursue a career in the Marines.
