Despite having a yard of pace on his younger brother, Tim, Matt is the more erratic of the Brown siblings - though he does have the ability to tie opposition batsman in knots.

With his unothadox, angular delivery, Matt primarily moves the ball away from the right handed batsman, but has the ability to hit the seam and jag it back the other way - Matt took 15 wickets in 2011.

Having moved away to Sheffield, Matt's availability in 2012 may be sporadic. However, if and when he is called into action, Matt will be a valuable part of the Brigg Road setup.
