With 158 Third Team runs, at an average of 31.60, Phil burst onto the scene in 2010. Having progressed through the CTCC junior system - as a medium paced swing bowler - Phil subsequently worked on his batting, and the rest is history.

Having made considerable progression in the preceding 18 months, Phil would have been looking forward to the 2011 season. However, a combination of illness and work severly hampered his participation.

Primarily a top order batsman, Phil is able to drive with power and precision. His bowling - which fluctuates between seam and leg spin - provides respective CTCC captains with valuable diversity.
