Sahan joined CTCC in 2008, but his debut season did not follow the script - the club was relegated from the Lincolnshire ECB Premier League, for the first time in eight years, and Sahan failed to record a century.
Since then, Sahan's return has been nothing short of remarkable. In three seasons at Brigg Road, the Sri Lankan has scored 3,214 runs - hitting 27 fifties and three centuries in the process.
In 2010, Sahan broke the Lincolnshire County League Premier Division batting record, compling 1,390 runs with a Bradman-esque average of 106.92. Sahan is also an accurate off spin bowler - his contribution will be fundamental in 2012.
